I absolutely love this EP. Strange, but probably my favourite Anathema CD .. well ... all the old Anathema CDs are my favourite ... but I prefer this one to Serenades, because I love each song here.  ...And I lust is absolute masterpiece with so beutiful guitar work ... Everwake is just awesome with it's really nice acoustic guitar theme and beuatiful Ruth voice... The Sweet Suffering is another track I love ... and same about the lyrics. Evrything rocks about this EP. The lyrics, the title ... and the music. Maybe later things are better musically, but this have undescribeable FEELING. The emotions here are so TRUE.

10/10

Honcuk always says what I wan't to say. This EP is my favorite stuff by Anathema because every song from that EP I like. 3 my favorite songs from Anathema are on this EP - Crestfallen, Sweet Suffering and Everwake. What to say about Crestfallen, intro guitars are amazing, just like Honcuk said every sound is full of emotions. Everwake even more emotional song, but short. Sweet suffering the best song Anathema made. Every part of song I see in front of me, when I am listening to. Amazing... I'm sorry because Anathema don't wan't to play old songs, so sweet suffering or crestfallen I will never hear live, even if they come to Serbia..

Only this record can challange Pyogenesis' "Ignis Creatio" for my favorite album of all time.

I do also like this EP very much. No matter how much I listen to it, I never get bored. The music is very beautiful, heavy, dark and kind of mysterious. Darren's grunts are almost perfect, and his clean, almost spoken parts in "...And I Lust" and "The Sweet Suffering" sound very good too. The album also has that classic Anathema guitar sound which I love. It's great to walk in a forest and listen to this incredibly atmospheric masterpiece at the same time.

This music will tear your heart to pieces if you let it!Heavy guitars create a suffocating atmosphere of darkness and d o o m,that is broken at times by beautiful melodic doom riffs...And the vocals...what can I say about the vocals??They're just perfect. The whole thing is just dark, and beautiful and emotional...Forget it,nothing I say can describe this ep...
In four words:Atmospheric-doom-death-metal!!!

By the haunting shadows of trees and graves mesmerized am I

We realize the design is a little messy in Internet Explorer, but it will change only when new version of Anathemaniacs appears. For now you can switch to one of other web browsers like Mozilla Firefox or Opera (by the way, they both are much better solutions than IE).
