I'm from Bergen, Norway, but I've been living in Berlin for about a year. I'm a trained make-up artist, but I don't really work as one, even though I love it a lot (esp. working with bands). I hope to start architecture studies in Berlin next year.
I first heard Anathema in 2000, when a friend introduced me to Eternity. Shortly after that I heard Alternative 4 and Judgement, and I was hooked. I love all their albums, but maybe Judgement a little bit more than the others, mainly because of "One Last Goodbye". That song has been my favorite ever since I first heard it 5 years ago, and I think it always will be.
I got to see Anathema for the very first time this year, in Berlin in April. Since then I've seen them two more times, and it only gets better and better...

Hi, I´m Alexandra, 23 years, I live in Kladno in the Czech Republic. I love Anathema for 6 years now. I´ve visited few concerts in the Czech Republic. Unfortunately they don´t come so often...I can´t decide what´s my favourite album, I love them all and it depends on my state of mind. I hope I´ll get here more friends to share my feelings...

Im the webmaster of this site, I live in southern Poland, Im 23 years old studying at University of Economics in Katowice. I've been listening to Anathema since 1998 (Alternative 4 release)... I don't have any fav album of them (or rather I should say it changes depending on various factors). First Anathema site I created in 2001, after many changes and re-designes it has finally evoluated in what you can see now (hope it's not the end anyway).

Hey Nikolai,
to answer your question from the review section (since there was to be no discussions there); "dimlit" means that something (usually a light, but in "Angelica"; love) isn't burning at full strength. A light bulb, daylight etc - when a light is dim, it's there, but kinda weak. "Lit" = past tense of "light" (as in the verb - "light a fire" etc). You native speakers, feel free to correct me or explain it in a better way. smile

Hello everyone
I was browsing the internet, too tired to do anything...way too tired to sleep 'till i found this  site. Since Anathema is my all times favorite band I decided to subscribe in  here in order  to congratulate the site webmaster for such an unique, interesting Anathema site and to salute everyone in here.
Just a few words about me: I come from a small town in the middle of Romania (Brasov, Transylvania), 22 years old, studying psychology, breathing music instead of air(especially Anathema and a few other bands), appreciating good artwork, loving books and nature, fascinated by human nature, posesing a resteless soul...I'm an universe in miniature as I like it to discrabe myself.

All these being said, once again...I salute all of you

Well, I guess it's my turn?
I don't really like talking about myself... but here I feel...like I'm home. So..
Whatever, I flooded this place with my posts, so ... i must introduce myself now.
Well... my name is Danny, I'm 20. Playing the guitar ... (I'm not good at all..)
My love with the emotional music (soft and hard as well) turned my life in a different way .. a little bit in a way of desolation, on the other hand - knowing myself and the world better...
I'm just an ordinary boy.

Did you wake with a sigh...and not a smile? Did you?

We realize the design is a little messy in Internet Explorer, but it will change only when new version of Anathemaniacs appears. For now you can switch to one of other web browsers like Mozilla Firefox or Opera (by the way, they both are much better solutions than IE).
