Some random thoughts:

- my first time at The Scala - quite liked it's labyrinth qualities, with its numerous vantage points
- bought a t-shirt from Jamie - I was just a little bit starstruck
- one of Leafblade was wearing a Pitchshifter t-shirt, and Pitchshifter rule
- the unique look of the guitarists of Wolverine
- the cliched cheering of the soundchecking roadie
- the tedious and overlong spoken word that opened the set
- the smile that creeps onto Vince's face as the crowd erupts into song as soon as Empty starts
- losing my breath during the obligatory Fragile Dreams mosh pit
- thinking that an hour and a half wasn't long enough for a headlining set, but actually was just right
- the mannerless mobile/camera/video phone obsessives
- Vince's 'vocoder' mike not working for most of Closer
- why are the 7 foot tall people always in the second row?
- Everything sounding much better live
- the one successful crowd surfer
- Parisienne Moonlight - phenomenal harmonious vocals
- the brilliant sounding guitar during Sleepless
- Danny playing the Eastenders theme tune at the end

Actually it was the same night, but the stage at the Scala is so low, and the drums set so far back it was difficult to see any drumming action from where i was. The keyboard parts were so flawlessly played that it had to be a backing track wink

I was experiencing them 'cold' so was completely unfamiliar with the songs. I like acoustic stuff in general, but it was perhaps a little too mellow for my tastes. I guess I was hoping for the next Days Of The New smile

I'll give the player on the website a try. Had Fira seen me waving my fiver at him through the crowd, I might be a convert by now!

We realize the design is a little messy in Internet Explorer, but it will change only when new version of Anathemaniacs appears. For now you can switch to one of other web browsers like Mozilla Firefox or Opera (by the way, they both are much better solutions than IE).
